The place where it all happened

The Galerie Dior now invites you to rediscover the exciting story of Dior’s beginnings as well as the prestige of decades of success by way of displays that draw on the company’s extensive archives.

An amazing exhibition

The Galerie Dior exhibits unique pieces that have rarely been shown to the public. Archival documents, original sketches, photographs and drawings, examples of original couture items, accessories and intriguing objects such as the great fashion designer’s lucky charm are presented in an elegant and refined scenography that highlights and contextualises each piece. Beautifully presented are iconic designs such as the Dior suit that revolutionised post-war fashion, handbags and shoes as well as perfume bottles that have become style benchmarks. You will also discover the life and personality of Christian Dior who, before becoming a fashion designer, was a gallery owner and illustrator who had forged close ties with many of the artists and intellectuals of his time.
