Winter is gradually coming to an end and the first hints of spring sweetness make the Paris air light and joyful. During your March break at the Paris France Hotel, you’ll have the opportunity to attend various international events such as the Saut Hermès, the Art Paris Art Fair and the Drawing Now Art Fair. Read on and we’ll tell you more.

A prestigious competition: the Saut Hermès

Rated CSI5*, the highest level of challenge, the show jumping competition sponsored by the famous Hermès brand has been held every year in Paris since 2009. In the impressive surroundings of the Grand Palais Éphémère, temporarily occupying a space at the foot of the Eiffel Tower while the renovation of the Grand Palais takes place, you can thrill to the exploits of the riders and their mounts as they compete from March 17th to 19th to try to win, among other prizes, the Grand Prix Hermès. Various equestrian shows and other entertainment are also scheduled.

Contemporary art in the spotlight

Two events will bring together art professionals and the public. The Drawing Now Art Fair, exclusively dedicated to contemporary drawing, will be held less than a five-minute walk from the Paris France Hotel. 72 galleries representing nearly 300 artists and 2,000 works will feature in this event from March 23rd to 26th. A few days later, the Art Paris Art Fair begins, bringing together galleries from all over the world to show the vitality and diversity of current creation.

Whether you prefer sport, art, shopping, culture, or a gourmet getaway, you’ll find that Paris in March is not lacking in attractions. Come and discover it all during your stay at the Paris France Hotel. And if, after all that excitement, you find you need some relaxation and pampering, head to the new Wellness Galerie of the Galeries Lafayette department store!
