Explore fun children’s attractions that are within reach of Hotel Paris France.

Disneyland Paris is one of the most famous children’s attractions. This world class park has 2 areas with over 50 attractions, shows, parades and rides. See Mickey and Minnie, or meet your little girl’s favourite princesses while dads and boys explore some of the wilder rides.
Surely Parc Asterix is the craziest theme park in Paris. Step into the shoes of the world’s most popular Gaul as you overcome Romans and Vikings, and follow in his footsteps through the streets of Paris from the Middle Ages to the 1800’s.

Museums are the perfect choice for rainy days

When the weather takes a turn for the worse it can be difficult to keep kids amused and museums offer an excellent solution. Take a look at how things work at Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie where there are separate sections for 2 to 7 year olds and 5 to 12’s. The kids can see how a house is built or what makes a water fountain work, and there is plenty of fun for adults too.
Palais de la découverte is another great science museum, and children can explore music and sound in the Acoustics room or take a look at the stars in the Planetarium. Give kids an introduction to culture at Musée en Herbe where art is brought to life in a series of exhibits and workshops. Children under 12 and will love stencil and collage making in this magical space that has been designed specifically for families.
The Galeries des Enfants at the Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle allows children to experience the wonder of natural history. Kids aged 6 to 12 need to be with at least one adult for this exclusive space and the glass roofed main museum is home to spectacular permanent exhibitions.

Animal magic in Paris

Jardin d'Acclimatation was founded in 1860, and it is still an inspired choice for family outings in Paris today. Older children can take part in workshops while tots admire the tame deer that wander the grounds or take a ride on the small train. Or why not visit Parc Zoologique de Paris? The famous zoo takes a unique approach to wildlife that teaches the importance of conservation. Follow the route around the ‘world’ to see animals in their natural habitats from Madagascar to the pine forests of Europe.
Finally, if you’re still wondering where to take the kids, why not try the waxworks? Grévin is a world famous museum and children will enjoy ‘meeting’ famous people like Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Gandhi or Brad Pitt. There are regular tours for kids each Saturday that let them look behind the scenes of this fantastic waxwork museum.
