Like every year, this summer in Paris will be festive and warm. The Paris Plages celebration of beach fun will still take place, albeit in compliance with current health measures. The guinguettes of the Seine are also ready to welcome you. The Paris France Hôtel has reopened its doors to visitors who are looking to enjoy a memorable summer in the French capital.

Paris Plages: 2020 edition

Paris Plages (Paris Beaches) returns from July 18th to August 30th, 2020 on the Quays de Seine and Bassin de la Villette. On the agenda is a wealth of summer fun, various activities, water sports and leisure for all! The less active can enjoy the picnic and relaxation areas as well as the mobile library or simply stroll along the banks of the Seine.

Paris Plages is taking place despite the current health situation, so the organisers stress the necessity for strict observation of sanitary measures. These include specific provisions for the use of swimming pools, and restrictions on the number of spectators for cultural events such as live concerts. So, this year will be a little different, but there’s just as much to enjoy!

Rendezvous in the guinguettes and enjoy an unforgettable summer

The current health situation has certainly not altered the friendly ambiance of the Parisian guinguettes! These essential taverns on the Seine are ready to welcome you and your friends for summer celebrations! La Nouvelle Seine, Monsieur Pélican, Les Maquereaux and Rosa Bonheur promise a warm welcome, live entertainment and traditional guinguette-style hospitality that includes, of course, delicious dishes accompanied by plenty of wine. Rest assured that the Quais de Seine guinguettes have been organised around sanitary measures such as 1-metre spacing between tables and between bar stools, a maximum of 10 people per table, and antibacterial gel for customers and staff. Enjoy yourself in complete peace of mind!
